Via private aircraft
Bocas del Toro International Airport (IATA: BOC, ICAO: MPBO) has a single runway with no taxiway. The runway measures 1,500 m × 26 m (4,921 ft × 85 ft). A small terminal exists at the east end of the runway. International arrivals must clear Panamanian customs at the airport. We take care of all paper work for you prior to your arrival. If you are flying private and wish to land in Panama City, you can park your aircraft in our hangar and refuel there. We have an FBO that can fly you round trip PTY/Bocas. Please ask for our information regarding the types of aircrafts available and prices. Flying time is approx. 1 hour.
Via commercial aircraft
Once in Panama City, your domestic flight leaves from Marcos A. Gelabert airport (PAC) in Albrook, which is about 30 minutes away from Tocumen International Airport (PTY) and only 10 minutes from downtown Panama City. Air Panama (www.flyairpanama.com) flies to Bocas International Airport (BOC) on Isla Colon in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago several times daily. Nature Air flies from several locations in Costa Rica to Bocas del Toro usually twice a week. Either flights are approximately 50 min.
